First off is the title of this post really even a word? I mean I've heard it used but that ain't mean it can be found in the pages of Mr. Webster...I just like the sound of it.
I've had a couple really amazing weekends and they include some really awesome people. Unfortunately I'm a horrible picture taker and so I only have not even a handful of pictures to share but I shall strive to improve my picture taking habits.
A couple weekends ago I drug my favy fav cousin/sister to Moab with me to visit a special someone and we had a great time. We saw a flick, visited a lovely redhead, climbed a burning sandhill and played the part of tourists very well. i love this chicka so much! She has saved my sanity countless times.
Brenna Stu how I do love you!
Then one weekend the special someone afore mentioned came down to the Miss San Juan pageant to see me thoroughly embarrass myself and for some reason he still stuck around?? I'm not so sure why but I'm sure glad :)
And this last weekend I had the pleasure of spending a couple of very great days with the Bigelow family and one handsome one in particular....we laughed, ate, went for walks, stargazed and yes even brushed our teeth together. Don't worry I'm not getting sappy on ya and this story is very G rated.
This is near a geyser we went to...I just like the orange rock and wanted to jump in the river mostly.
I didn't know that human beings could ever be so accepting of one another, but I'm sure glad that I met these ones and that they for some reason or another unseen to me decided to be nice to me and accept me for me.
Come to think of it...this whole situation kind of just came about by.....happenstance.....
Oh and P.S. Once the other day my cousins, aunt, mother and I, we all floated down the San Juan River. It was summer solstice (June 21). We got toasted. Not exactly my first description of fun, but it is one I can chalk up to my list.
Yeah my cousins are pretty gorgeous I know.... I love em!
Oh and P.S.S. I know you're all wondering even though this is possibly the longest post ever....
His name is Brennan and he makes me happy :) Think I'll keep 'im around.

There's something 'bout summertime
Living with my sister last summer I truly loved seeing my nieces and nephew every single day. I will admit they tested Aunt Boo's patience to the limit and my diaper changing skills, gag reflex and love for little chillins all grew significantly. We had so many good times and it's been so hard being away from them this summer. Unlimited minutes on cellphones doesn't cut it Verizon when it comes to having a relationship with these little tikes!
Okay so I accidentally went slightly overboard choosing pics to put up of them...good thing they will be here in 8 days....not that I've been counting for more days than that anyways..... :)
Alright so the point I'm trying to make is that I truly miss my kids and my kid time (yes I called them my kids although my sister did give birth to all three I still just love em!) So since these children aren't around me 25/8 anymore I found another cute little chicka to play with that I just love to death! I'm so grateful for willing cousins that let me steal their children for some playtime...this will be a weekly habit most likely.
Colee and I had so much fun running through the sprinklers, playing the piano, hide and go seekin it to the max and also water painting. (Don't judge me in my bathing suit...I know you're all jealous of my extra rolls and curves....pahahahah.) We had a grand time and I can't wait to have some fun with Colee once again!!
This little girl is a genius and melts my heart every time she uses such adult language. Also I just love hearing her say my name....."Kawa....Kawa...Kawa...." :)

It's called a moomoo folks
Once upon a cold December in 2011 we had what we like to call "roommate Christmas" and I was fortunate to receive this special little number ;) from only the best roommate ever. She thought I might never wear it, but I have proof that it has served me well these past 6 months of life and will continue to be a treasure throughout eternity....might even have it burrried in the coffin with me someday....a little extreme I realize.
Thing is when I was little my Momma Jo used to make these shaweet silky night gowns for the best sister ever named Janice and I. We would pretend we were Jasmine flying on a magic carpet to go pick up Aladin from whatever adventure he might have had with Aboo (<=== spelling anyone?) that day. Truth be told I loved the nighties, but I didn't love the silk they were made of, I've always been a cotton girl myself so when this 100% piece of cotton nighty came my way we had a special bond
immediately.
Bonus thing about nighties for me is that I am basically my dad reincarnated in woman form (scary I know right? ha-ha) which means that I am very hot blooded so the summer months make it a little hard for me to sleep when the weather gets pretty toasty.....so the nighties provide covering without adding extra heat to my nights rest.
Also the nighty makes me think of the roomies which I'm missing extra lots these days so a good reminder of them is always nice :) Needless to say I heart the mooomooos for many reasons, all of them being very good.

Clean. Organize. Be.....HAPPY!
Okay so I sorta forgot about my shaweet little bloggy blog, but I do in fact have a decent-ish excuse for not blogging for about a month. I have been moving for what seems like three weeks now on top of cleaning an old apartment, cleaning a new apartment, saying goodbyes and also taking finals...oh and trying to be social (I say trying because I'm actually a pretty antisocial college student just so ya know). I can now happily say that I am officially moved home for the summer (YAY B-TOWN) and this means I am all done packing and organizing for three full months.
So today I decided to organize all my crap I brought home along with some of my old crap I had left at home before I went absolutely looney-it's okay we all know I'm already half way there it wouldn't have taken much.
BEFORE
AFTER (by after I mean all morning after and yes if you're wondering I own a lot of crap)
Oh and yes I even vacuumed for dramatic effect (or is it affect? I still can't ever tell.......)
I feel a lot better about life now that this little project is complete and that I can be a kind of sane human being now......although this is me after I finished and the pic isn't screaming sane....to each his own!

So I'm a little sentimental
My mommy celebrated her day of birth earlier this week, which set me to reflecting on our life together and how much God loves me for giving me such a wonderful woman in my life. She wiped my bum, showed me what matters in life, shared her testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, fought with me about boys, taught me how to love, but mostly she became one of my best friends.
As I have moved out from under her wing I have learned that she has taught me so much. Each and everyday I thank my Heavenly Father for her. She is the first one I call when I need to have a melt down, seek advice or just simply have a special moment (believe me I have a lot of those).
She has taught me so much. I know I can never repay her, but someday I hope to be half the woman she is. I simply wish that I would have realized how much I appreciate her earlier in life. I guess that's something that comes with growing up though right? Good thing she is patient, gentle and loving through all the hard times we've had together because without her I would be nothing.
I know she worries about me daily and I feel her love for me as I receive blessings from prayers she offers in my behalf. She texts me everyday and I am thankful for it because it lets me know she cares (it also shows me that she finally can sort of work her cellular device). So mom, stop worrying because you've done a great job at raising me-trust in yourself and the daughter/woman you've taught me to be.

Mama I'm okay out here
I've seen how hard the world can be
My step is sure and I know my name
I'm strong just like you prayed I'd be
I'm strong just like you prayed I'd be"
I know my name Mom and I'm happy to say it's the same as yours. Keep praying for me because I'm on my knees praying for you.
I LOVE YOU.

It's not what you think
I had a great little experience this weekend....
Who would think I even need to wear one of these when I'm at work looking like this.....
Anywho, word of advice to all the single ladies out there....invest in a creepy old man ring if you're having any creepy creep problems.

It's a dreaded place....
As students we know it's inevitable that we have to complete tasks that we don't want to...some professors like to call this "homework". This is very inconvenient for me....homework and I don't have the best relationship and try to spend as little time together as possible. Thankfully the roomies and I have created something called "The Homework Table". We don't seem to use our kitchen table for much else, just sayin'. So tonight we sit at the dreaded place called "The Homework Table".....woof.
As you can see....I tend to get a whole lot done at the homework table like...getting in some quality music time....but for reals now it's time to get something done so I can find a better attitude for this night! :) I know you wish you had a place as cool as the homework table in your house....oh wait you do!

The House of the Lord
We also as roommates decided to do what we like to call "roommate Easter". We included this with conference weekend for a couple different reasons. We had to stuff our eggs for the Easter Bunny to hide in the morn.....yay!
300 eggs later.................
:-)
As long as it runs....
Here I am admitting willingly that I know nothing about cars. I am a car retard. Yep you read that correctly. Over Spring Break my patient father tried to teach me a thing or two about my car and it was a wonderful adventure for us both. While in this lesson I learned that I needed to get an oil change when I got back to Cedar so yesterday I drove down to the local Wal-mart's and I got Thelms (thats my car if you was wonderin) some brand spankin new oil to run on....well technically the handy people at the oil and lube express did, but I like to think I did something by driving her down there.
The point of the story is that I learned something from a dear dear friend, Ashlee Rose Adkins, that doesn't take the priesthood to accomplish. So this morn I changed my......
ALL BY MYSELF! (if anyone is wondering...this is an air filter. Apparently a vehicle doesn't run correctly without a clean one.)
I feel like singing the pull-ups theme song...."I'm a big girl now". Don't judge, it was a big accomplishment okay?

We love concerts!
A little over a month ago my besti called me up and asked me if I would like to attend the Miranda Lambert, Chris Young and Jarrod Niemann concert with her this Friday of March 16th....is that even a question?! (oh I apologize for the horrible picture quality, we both forgot our cameras so the cell phone pics will have to do) We haven't had a chance to do something just us for a long time and I loved having some quality girl time and catching up. Fern and I have a timeless friendship which I will always be so thankful for. How I do love my besti.
We had UNBELIEVABLY GREAT SEATS. Floor, center section, row 8. Loved every second of this musical entertainment.
One comment for Mr. Chris Young......WILL YOU MARRY ME PLEASE?! Because I wouldn't mind waking up to you each and every morning if you would sing to me everyday.
Miranda was AMAZING! I always appreciate an artist that gets involved with the crowd and knows how to get people involved with just being a good human being and she did just this. Plus she has an awesome voice and some songs that are favorites of mine.
At the end they all sang a song together which was fun. Thanks for the good time besti!

Gettin' our hike on
I suppose it's time to play catch up now since spring break is almost over. While we were all in Cannonville this last Thursday we decided to go for a hike out a Kodachrome and have a little picnic. Cambri and Kagen love their Grandpa Buddah though and wanted to take a walk over to the cemetery with him before we left....isn't this the cutest picture ever?!
We feasted up upon wonderful food that the blessed hands of my sister Janice made. She is a fantabulous cook and someday I aspire to be just like her.
The kids saw a blue bird hovering our food and wanted to share with him....too cute?!
This picture pretty much sums up our personalities......
The kids love when Gram and Grandps are around because they get spoiled endlessly! And they totally deserve it. Gosh I love these kiddos-even if they want nothing to do with me when Grandpa and Grandma have way more fun to offer them.
Oh and the nature wasn't too bad either :)
